A sincere, playful and non-serious demeanour is YatrenNadu's approach to his own practise and teaching style. 'Sincerity with a touch of playfulness inspires sensitivity to the body and lightness in the mind, enabling it to focus on the here now.' Yatren completed a 4 year, full time yoga apprenticeship at the Yoga Arts Academy, and graduated as a qualified Sakshin Ghatastha Yoga teacher in August 2003. Yatren has been training at The Yoga Arts Academy since it opened in Melbourne, Australia in 1998. At the academy he teaches early morning personal tuition sessions and evening open classes. Yatren holds international yoga retreats and workshops in Africa and India. |
Relaxation and celebration is the emphasis at any of Yatren's retreats and workshops. The beautiful locations indicate the outer beauty towards inner beauty. The yoga-asana stretch away physical blockages and tension. Combine this with several meditation techniques, a refreshed outlook towards physical fitness, spiritual development and a higher understanding of the witness (sakshin) is a certainty.
