Taking yourself to a beautiful location away from the daily routine is great way to build up skills on the road to the essence of relaxation. A period of restoration, through yoga-asana and meditation, is the residential retreat. You will be guided through a series of meditation techniques. Some silent sitting, others more active such as humming, or cathartic to throw out anguish or stress that the body has accumulated. Asana sessions will be based on technique to develop strength and stability for the body, and to ease relaxation into each posture to quiet the mind. The asana course is designed to introduce or re-introduce the foundations of practise, with sensitivity given to each person's ability and pace. |
As well as enjoying the company of others with similar interests, there will always be plenty of time to be alone, a time to move inward. Techniques will be on hand for this phenomenal meditation of silence. A chance for you to move to your centre, and engage in an understanding of your core nature.
